LYME FOLK WEEKEND 2021 // FRI AUGUST 27 - MON AUGUST 30

Hello everyone,

No doubt you will have been wondering about our plans for Lyme Folk Weekend 2020.

We tried really hard to keep our options open for as long as possible, to give our festival the best chance of going ahead, but this week we have been forced to face the reality that it is not going to be possible, for reasons that are all too obvious.

We have, therefore, taken the decision to postpone this year’s Lyme Folk Weekend until the same time in 2021.

We are, though, thrilled to say that all the headline acts that we had booked have agreed to return next summer, so the festival will look exactly the same as it would have done this August.

The new dates are Friday August 27 to Monday August 30 2021, when we will be delighted to bring you an amazing line-up for our first four-day festival - kicking off with the brilliant Gigspanner Big Band, followed by Fay Hield and her band, our wonderful patrons Ninebarrow and Friends, and what will be an amazing finale with the irrepressible Merry Hell.

If you have bought tickets for this year’s Marine Theatre concerts, then we would dearly love it if you kept them for these rescheduled shows. If you would like to keep your tickets for next year, you don’t need to do anything. All tickets already bought for this year’s shows will be valid for 2021.

If you would prefer to have a full refund, then we will of course be happy to do that.

For refunds, if you bought your ticket from our website, please send an email to refunds@lymefolk.com, giving your name and order number and we will reimburse you as soon as possible.

If you bought your tickets on the phone or in person from the Lyme Regis Tourist Information Centre, then please call them on 01297 442138.

Refunds will be available until August 30.

Tickets for the rescheduled shows will be available to buy from September this year, although we cannot guarantee that the prices will remain the same.

We really hope you will come and join us next year - it’s going to be quite a party.

In the meantime, stay safe and well.

Love from everyone at Lyme Folk Weekend.
